I'm experimenting with this! You just take it before you sleep. So far, I like it a lot.
Sun Salutations in addition to some other stretches. I find this helps on those mornings where I wake up feeling slight stiffness.
Morning Self Massage
- Vata Dosha: 4-5 times a week using sesame, almond, or a Vata-balancing oil, such as the Relaxing Abhy Oil.
- Pitta Dosha: 3-4 times a week using a coconut, sunflower, or a Pitta-balancing oil, such as the Soothing Abhy Oil.
- Kapha Dosha: 1-2 times a week using safflower or a Kapha-balancing oil, such as the Invigorating Abhy Oil.
- Good for all Three Doshas: Jojoba oil
****The two add on's in the mornings
2 glass's of warm water instead of one
and....extra time spent doing, what we call in the massage therapy world "Colon scrub"
Our bodies are innately equipped with an ingenious and highly interactive system of organs and processes through which it has been naturally designed to mobilize and purge toxic materials from itself on an ongoing basis.
These are the body’s primary organs and pathways of elimination:
Colon- Liver- Kidneys - Lymphatics- Lungs - Skin - Blood
Each of these pathways is synergistically interconnected with and interdependent upon the others, and if they’re all functioning properly chances are we’ll enjoy good health.
However, if one or more of these pathways becomes sluggish, congested, overwhelmed, or is otherwise functioning less than optimally, this puts an unnatural burden on the others, which often results in unpleasant symptoms.
For instance, if our liver is congested, especially during a cleanse, we may notice some skin eruptions like a rash or adult acne. Or if we’re experiencing constipation while doing a detox protocol, we may develop flu symptoms like swollen lymph glands, a sore throat, or perhaps a cough or lung congestion.
One pimple on my chin
A longer than usual nap
and finally, the sensation of fullness.
After the nap, the only symptom left is that darn pimple! Yet it's not angry or irritated or anything noteworthy.
The first 2 days have been pretty good if you ask me!
In cleaning from the inside out...I feel better internally. Softer and therefore; stronger.....in the balance between holding on and letting go.
So SO SO GOOD!!!!
I FEEL BETTER....
I like welcoming him into my space because he is very respectful, kind and he's energy wise. Because he is all those things, I trust him in my space and with my body. He has that consistency. His unapologetic masculine to my receptive feminine.
There is usually an energy dance because I'm not always fully in my feminine receptive when he arrives. Which is interesting because I'm usually in my feminine receptive...It's like he's designed to show me exactly where I am
My playful commenting is usually some version of: "you're pretty bossy"
His playful responses are usual some version of: "you need that. You need to be handled cause you're the boss every place else"
In staying in his own energy I am able to see and feel exactly where I am in mine. He adds value and energy to me. Every time I see him, without fail.
Often I will write, copy/paste and send myself an email of what I wrote and as I'm walking or flower hunting I'm re-reading what I wrote. The process is all consuming.
And I'm also working too so it is really important that I welcome specific humans into my space that enhance or add energy value or to the quality of my life. The Rock doesn't come around all that often but when he does - he is a gift to me. Every time.
He doesn't try to take more than he is willing or able to give. There is no confusion, no nonsense, no chaos...none of those things. He doesn't make promises he has no intention on keeping. He doesn't try to bamboozle me. He doesn't use me for my wisdom or my gifts to improve his own life but rather, he just comes in to improve mine. There is just pleasure and he seems to assist in helping me clean my grid just by being who he is.
