He was one of those christians that radiates goodness and although he spoke a lot about the Lord, Jesus and what the bible says, he was also very open to me, my way of being and non judgmental. Gosh, those are my favorite christians, really. He had a way about him...if I was lost and looking for God or something to believe in, his nature would lead me there. We discussed this. He talked about how being something brings people to you rather than trying to bring people to you. That sort of thing.
Anyway, I was late for Hula class because...I totally forgot the name of the street my class is on. This is not new behavior on my part. I am the worst. Many streets in Honolulu begin with a K and I walk or ride the bike so once I know the route I just go...I ended up giving him the wrong street name and let's just say...he was a good sport about it and I eventually ended up where I needed to be. I will have to improve upon this later...
We have a new Hula sister!!!!!!!!
And today, for that one song, doesn't my hula teacher put me front and center of the class. Every time she does that I mess up! It's so funny, put me in the back of the class and I can do it perfectly. Make me responsible for everyone else and I mess up. It's like my brain shuts off or something. I guess I will just have to move through this too! Keep on, keeping on....
This seems to be the time when all of my communities are cleaning up their tupperware and mason jar acts LOL. We exchange so much and so often things get lost. I'm the queen of the mason jars because I like to make everyone stock or soups or things that go in mason jars very well. Tupperware is more everyone else giving me food. We have it all straightened out now! (as far as I'm aware of) and now that I have all of my mason jars back, I will fill them back up for everyone!
Today at Hula, when one of my Hula sisters gave me back a tupperware container I left at her home for a party, she put chocolate coconut cups from Thailand inside the container!
