Lady Elizabeth aka "The Duchess" created an impromptu gals night. She showed up for work thinking she was on the schedule and learned she had Friday night off. That's rare for her. I was so happy when she reached out. She's like that in many ways. If plan A doesn't work-she floats to Plan B. If plan B has some challenges she will find a way to make it work and then go to plan C. If she must. She's brilliant in this way. Along with being brilliant in many other ways.
I love being near her. In her energy. I love watching her move. Her eyes sparkle and dance with happiness. While she's gorgeous, being with her -in her energy field -she's even more gorgeous. She loves OUT. While she's in love with Kentucky, she loves all of her friends and speaks often about how much gratitude she has for having all of these amazing people in her life. She's got that beyond healthy sisterhood consciousness running through her.
And she's very elegant in the broadness of her humor. Sharp. A brilliant mind in a beautiful form. I have moments with her too that make me laugh and stay with me to make me laugh again the next day or a week later. Or even a month later.
She said "I can't handle hearing that" circling herself with her hands, she says "Candy land. I am candy land"
We laughed. I understood what she meant. I have had more than one moment when I was in a state of bliss and my ears can't hear anything that isn't in alignment with my state of bliss. It's like "please no. Please don't interrupt my inner joy with stories that don't match"
I told her I was going to use that line. She has many Elizabeth-isms that enhance moments.
She and I talked about our experience with people who are uncomfortable with our priority being happiness, bliss or our joy. How sometimes we are seen as selfish or not living in the real world.
But I've seen her in her life. I've seen her listen intently to a homeless man who said "I'm hungry" I watched her take the time to decide which sandwich he might like best. What would be the best choice for him. I saw her hand a homeless man food.
I've seen her in action. She has a servants heart.
There is no getting around her innate goodness as she protects her candy land joyfulness.
I loved this moment....
