Below are some images of my Friend Sandra and her chosen bridesmaids. In the image on the left at her wedding: the petite woman is her husband's beloved sister, from there you see
Kim (Sandra's best friend)
Sandra (the Bride)
Christina (her cousin and another best friend)
and last but not least Christina (aka me)
The sweet little girls are Kim's beautiful daughters.
This year I missed Sandra's 50th birthday party, however her cousin Christina set us up to do Face Time. She mentioned "The only thing missing is Christina being here." Aww.
Honestly, I don't know how this circle of women put up with me. I'm late, I'm gone, I'm missing, I'm usually off doing the next crazy thing.
All I can tell you is Sandra is a true blue who has woven all of us together.
Christina, Kim and Lenna have all taken the time to keep me in the loop, up to date in in the circle. My gratitude is enormous.
This morning I woke up to a message from Lenna offering to give Sandra an extra hug from me. This is how much these women love and how deeply our friendships are woven... they just think of these things. Things I would never ask anyone to do for me because I feel it would be best for me to do it myself. She gifted me with her generous nature. I'm very grateful to all of these women for holding us all together. Especially me. The gypsy
This image of Avani Sophia is borrowed from her mother's facebook page. I love her joy, how she's wearing a shirt that has peace signs all over it and mostly...that a butterfly has landed on her finger. Precious.
Yesterday was the private memorial and Today everyone said goodbye to this Angel...from what I understand over 500 people showed up to honor this little one and her family. Community. Connection. Love. Thank God
Peaceful Angel :) Much Love
Kainoa, his friendship is another true blessing to me. In my mind I am a lot to hold. This felt even more true this last week with all that was going on. Yet, he holds me and our friendship so reverently. He's another gift. He teaches me daily just by being who he is. It's like all of my people are my people because they teach me how to be a better person and I'm very grateful
